THE SUNBURST CONVENTION

Those requesting and qualified to be in the Platinum Showcase will be performing on Friday, August 14 sometime between 3:00pm and 5:00pm.
They will be seen by top agents and talent buyers from across the country and beyond.
The Sunburst Convention will play a 60 second promo video of their performance for ONE YEAR
on this website. Viewers of the page will be able to contact any attending agent to book you.

They will also display their promotional materials on the "Promo Table" both days of the showcase like all Sunburst Attendees. They will meet every agent attending on each day following the showcases.

To Qualify For The Platinum Showcase, the entertainer must have no less than:

-Professional Headshots or Promo Photos
-Professionally Edited Video (Preferably DVD Format)
-A Website (Agent Friendly or Not) (Not to be MySpace or Facebook Accounts) or an Electronic Press Kit
-Been professionally booked and paid to perform this particular Celebrity Tribute Act
-Professional Press Kit to include: Rider, Bio/Resume, Professional Business Cards
-BONUS: Customized Musical Tracks or Charts; Self contained show ready to book
-POSSIBILITY: Letter of recommendation from a former Sunburst Agent Attendee or Two Letters of Recommendation from Non-Sunburst Agent Attendee.

For the very first time, The Sunburst Convention is setting up requirements to qualify for different showcase catagories. By NO MEANS are we implying different levels of talent by this catagorization. Rather, we are acknowledging the basic measurements by which talent book-a-bility is judged by many talent buyers. These factors may include but are not limited to things such as previous bookings, promotional materials, press kits, professional recommendations, headshots, web sites and so on.

Once you have met the basic requirements listed below for your preferred showcase catagory, your application will be reviewed by committee. Our Qualifying Committee consists of Industry Professionals from Disney and Universal Studios, Agents, Talent and some members of the Sunburst Staff.

We expect to see a great number of agents as well as a lot of great talent in each of the showcases.

ALL SHOWCASES WILL BE AIRED LIVE ON THE INTERNET BY MARC DOBSON/ www.MyShowNetwork.com

NOTE: For acts with two or more entertainers: Each act gets 4 minutes on stage. If there are three of you in the act, you do NOT get 12 minutes on stage, only 4. We have altered pricing for additional members in an act. We have two choices. You will have to call us to get these rates.

All 'Meet & Greet' Look Alikes (those without performing acts) will be featured on both days of the showcases. However, professional promotional photos and business cards are required.

They will be seen by top agents and talent buyers from across the country and beyond.

They will also display their promotional materials on the "Promo Table" both days of the showcase like all Sunburst Attendees. They will meet every agent attending on each day following the showcases.

To Qualify For The Gold Showcase, the entertainer must have no less than:

-Professional Headshots or Promo Photos

• Video (Professionally Edited or Raw Footage)
• MySpace or Facebook Account or Website or Electronic Press Kit

-Been professionally booked and paid to perform this particular Celebrity Tribute Act
-Business Cards or Comp Cards
-BONUS: Customized Musical Tracks or Charts; Self contained show ready to book
-POSSIBILITY: Letter of recommendation from a qualified agent.

Those in the Premiere Showcase will be performing on Saturday, August 15 sometime between 1:00pm & 4:00pm.
They will be seen by top agents and talent buyers from across the country and beyond.

They will also display their promotional materials on the "Promo Table" both days of the showcase like all Sunburst Attendees. They will meet every agent attending on each day following the showcases.

To Qualify For The Premiere Showcase, the entertainer must have no less than:

-Professional Headshots or Promo Photos

• MySpace or Facebook Account

-Business Cards or Comp Cards

Once again...we will SELL OUT of our showcase spots like we've done over the past 4 years. This year, we will probably sell out earlier than ever! Here's a solution for those who came in after the showcases were sold out!

We have learned over the years there are many entertainers who are just getting into the business and would love to attend Sunburst. However, they may feel they are not quite ready to showcase in public and especially on the internet, but would really appreciate the comraderie, fellowship and networking of our event.

Many understand the great inportance of our seminars. They also want to see what this business is all about. Well, this year, we are offering a "no showcase" ticket specifically designed for those individuals.

We will WELCOME them with open arms to our wonderful industry and answer any and all questions they may have to see if this business is for them. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn directly form individuals who have been doing this for many, many years.

Those just starting out will learn more in these 3.5 days at Sunburst, than they would working this out on their own in two years.
These are TRULY the best group of professional entertainers than anyone could ever meet...and they welcome newcomers with great enthusiasm.
