A Note From The Producers: Hello Everyone! At this time, we are remembering the years of hard work and dedication given to all of us by Mrs. Bea Fogelman. Bea was the director of The Entertainment Network and many, if not all of us, are thankful to Bea for all she did. Her sudden passing caught all of us off guard. It seems strange to think we will not be getting her newletter or emails reminding us to "be good" and do our best. On that note, we have made some fairly drastic changes to the Sunburst Convention for our 2009 gathering. We are having two showcases as in year's past, but this year will feature a GOLD Showcase and a PLATINUM showcase. Each person will have to qualify to be in the showcases. The convention is still open to anyone and everyone who wants to come and participate and learn and network. However, we will be screening acts to that we only offer the agents top of the line acts who are ready to book. Sometimes, it's better to wait before showcasing in front of the agents. If the act is not 100% ready to book, it could harm the artists reputation, even if they get better over the years. More will shared about this concept. Thanks for your time and we look forward to helping everyone along the way. We will start accepting registrations in March.
